Big time prayers
Be joyful in hope, patient in afflicition, faithful in prayer.
Didn't get much sleep last night, finally closed my eyes at 2:45 am and my alarm went off at 6:00 am. A racing mind is the worst thing possible. I could not shut it off. Going through all aspects of this new journey. So I prayed.......
Oh Lord Almighty, give me the peace I am forever needing at this moment. Hold me Lord and comfort me as I feel weak tonight. Pour your love onto me and my heart, and reassure me you Lord are in control, you have the power to do all miraculous things. I am asking tonight, as I am feeling no strength in my legs to hold myself up, that you will shine, shine through me Lord. Through this trial, I know lessons are being learned, seeds are being planted in those who need you. I trust you will use me, this journey, our faith to help one person. You Lord will not fail me. Tonight my soul cries, and it is you that answers those cries. Bless my amazing husband, the father of my three beauties, that he will, HE WILL be healed by the grace of God, HE WILL BE HEALED! You Lord will show the victories to all of us.
Tomorrow we are headed to the Wellness clinic and then Doug is scheduled for an MRI in the afternoon. They are looking to see what the tumor has done in the last 6 weeks.
This is where I am asking for BIG TIME PRAYERS!
We are praying the tumor has not grown! Once we get the results of the MRI we will then most likely start the chemo and radiation.
Doug is feeling really strong. Tons of energy and doing really well. We both feel we made the right decision by going to the Mountain Family Wellness Clinic. (Thank you Jenny for being my assistant coach and giving us that info!) We will continue to use them through the whole process, they are family now.
This army that stands by me, I ask of you, tonight please just add one more prayer for Doug.
May we rejoice tomorrow or the next with a victory won. No growth of the tumor!
But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.
Love and Blessings to all!
