My heart is completely broken

My heart is completely broken! The love of my life, my best friend and the best dad to my three amazing girls was welcomed home in heaven. Our hearts are hurting, our tears seem to not stop, we are holding each other and feeling numb at the same time. I have lost half of myself! The words that usually flow right out of me seem to be at a halt. I'm guessing that is because I have always wrote from my heart and it is a bit broken. This journey has been one hell of a ride and I can honestly say we took it with our head held high, our faith was in the front and we fought until the end. You will NEVER hear me say "he lost his battle to cancer" THAT IS A LIE! See Cancer came into our lives not as a battle, but as a process for us to use. The lord knew this was what we needed to be able to reach thousands of souls. Through this process we have learned, we have taught, we have inspired, we have made some question, we have planted seeds, we have shown the beauty Cancer can bring, and we have had Christ right next to us to share with everyone. 2Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith My love walk in the heavens with no pain, with no weakness. Coach heavens team now. Champion you are and champion you will forever be. The Lord needed you more and now with your angel wings you can touch more young athletes than ever before. No battles lost my love, see your job here was finished. Although we shed tears and might not fully understand, I know you lived a christ filled life. And the work you did for him is shining through numerous souls today! Thank you for loving me and being my best friend. The girls and I will forever carry on your name and promise to coach and mentor others as you did! I love your guts! Until we walk eternity together! My writings will continue because I have so much more to say. Pray for my girls, the family, and myself.
