Hoping to go home

Dr. Lochhead came in to see us this morning. Told us the pathologist was doing a few more studies on the tumor and would hope to have something for us by Monday. We are planning on going home tomorrow if all goes well. So grateful for the outpouring of support we are receiving, man we have some amazing people in our lives! This new journey has opened my eyes to what life is truly about, softened my heart to truly care for people in a crisis, made me realize how well my parents raised me to be a strong person, to never give up, to stand for what I believe in, and to fight when fighting was required! I get anxious waiting for the reports to come, but we have decided it does not matter what we hear, what stage, or type, WE ARE FIGHTING IT ALL THE SAME WITH THE SAME OUTCOME! I sit here tonight in the dark staring out the hospital window at the cross shining on Table Rock, pondering all the things I could pray about. And there are lots of things I want to pray about, but my heart became calm when I could feel in my soul what I needed to pray tonight. So I began to pray, Thank you Jesus for the blessings you have provided for me and my family in this time of trials. I ask for your guidance to help me be strong, to give me strength to show to others through you all things are possible. Oh God tonight I give you Doug, my husband and father of my 3 amazing girls, for I put him in your hands. You Lord take your son of Christ and heal him of all sickness, bless him with your spirit and fill his heart with your love. Oh God for you are now in control, we are believing in your healing power! Amen Today was filled with numerous family and friends visiting. It means so much to us both. Doug did over do it and got very tired. I might have to have visiting hours set up at the house! Some amazing people showed up at my house, so I hear, to clean. Bentli said to me, "mom it's the cleanest our house has ever been!" Thanks ladies for doing that for me, one stress off my plate!
